The Deakins on Mountainview

The Deakin family is delighted to offer you the best B&B experience possible! Our accommodation includes comfortable rooms, delicious and hearty breakfasts, all nestled in a unique setting complete with tranquil forests and birdsong. In addition to being a B&B, our farm is a full production center for delicious Canadian maple syrup. Summer guests from overseas delight in guided walks as they learn about Canadian hardwood forests. They also experience a display of the sugar camp as it would appear in winter and see the maple plantation where a maple tree is planted every fall in honour of each visitor to the bed and breakfast. In winter, local visitors experience first-hand the wonder of the historical event known as maple syrup time.
