The Pembroke, Petawawa & District Community Foundation was established in 2009. We exist to inspire philanthropy. We are one of more than 150 Community Foundations in Canada.

Our mandate is to hold and grow charitable funds for people businesses, churches and other organizations. As the fund grows, the proceeds are distributed to meet the community’s greatest needs.

A Community Foundation works to sustain the charitable and non-profit organizations in the area, by providing a mechanism through which to grow funds to return to charitable works and community projects. We help to create great communities through building a permanent source of funds, connecting donors with community needs and by providing leadership on key community issues.
