The original “Murray Brothers”, Thomas and Michael Murray, founded MBLC back in 1902. Tom and Mick were strong proponents of utilizing the full range of species available in the forest and they considered forest tenure from a long-term perspective. This strategy is maintained today as extensive company resources are managed sustainably using strict harvesting regulations. We do not believe in high-grading the forest.
