Groves Park Lodge, a 90 unit long term care centre is located in beautiful Renfrew, Ontario. A single floor facility, Groves Park was acquired by GEM in 1981 and through recent additions and renovations, has continued to set the standard in the Renfrew area for how seniors’ care is delivered.

Residents of Groves Park find it to be the ideal place for them to live as they typically have numerous health requirements and require supervision or assistance in performing their activities of daily living. In addition to the recent facility renovations which include 32 private rooms, an elegant dining area and a luxurious ballroom, Groves will soon be undergoing renovations to convert the rest of its semi private rooms to private, increasing their number of units to 96 and further enhancing the level of care that GEM strives to provide at each of their facilities.

Clients who live at Groves Park Lodge enjoy the activity program which keeps them enthused and involved with their neighbours. For their convenience there is also a hair salon, library, and multi-denominational chapel and a physiotherapy and occupational therapy exercise area in the facility. Healthy meals and snacks are all prepared under the direction of our nutritionist and are enjoyed in our beautifully decorated dining area.
