BunnyWarmers are made with love by Cathy Lyons, recently retired but still not very good at it. Happily living on the Bonnechere River between Golden Lake and Killaloe, in Ontario, Canada she’s inspired to knit funky hats by her original “Babes in Bookland”. These very early readers (newborn to three) bundle up in the cold winter months to spend time with her, discovering books at the Killaloe and District Public Library.

Each BunnyWarmer is unique and can be sized from infant to adult, though most of Cathy’s knitting is for younger heads! Hats are made in pure washable wool, cotton, bamboo or a blend of these. Some patterns are also available in acrylic yarns. If you fall in love with an embellished hat (one that has ribbons, tulle or fuzzy wool parts), they are equally easy to care for.
