During the summer, park staff evening programs, guided hikes, children’s programs and special events, such as archaeological programs, Celtic music and a wolf howl.
Fishing
Early morning and dusk are the best times to catch lake trout, pike, walleye and bass. The best fishing is done from a boat, but you can also try your luck from shore or the park’s footbridge.
Canoeing
Explore Round Lake’s shoreline by canoe or branch out into the Little Bonnechere River for a scenic paddle. Overnight excursions are possible if you paddle the Bonnechere River into Algonquin Park.
