Ben Hokum & Son Limited is situated on the north shore of Golden Lake, along highway 60, just outside of the village of Killaloe. The family-operated company will be 50 years old in 2006 and is proud of its accomplishments to date. Two sawmills are operated to produce the company’s well manufactured lumber. They consist of a large log mill using a carriage for its primary breakdown and an optimized, automated high production small log mill. The company, once small, has grown to be the largest mill in Renfrew County.
